How you start your career largely determines the direction of your professional future. Phoenix Solar offers you excellent career prospects in the solar industry. We will provide you with support and assist your personal and professional development irrespective of which area you decide to train in.
You are welcome to carry out a “trial internship” with Phoenix Solar AG. This will provide you with an insight into our company and allow you to obtain information about our various areas of activity. Various incentives make the decision to opt for a professional traineeship easier.
Training at Phoenix Solar
Your two to three-year traineeship begins in September. You will obtain an insight into our various business segments during this period. Whether it’s day-to-day business or project work, you’ll learn what the world of work is all about. We ensure our trainees are optimally prepared to meet their professional challenges. Upon successful completion of the traineeship, you will have the opportunity to join our team.

Training on making job applications
Phoenix Solar AG provides training courses on making job applications at vocational schools in Munich. We show school pupils how to improve their applications and ensure they are well prepared for interview. We also assess their organisational and interpersonal skills through a specific questioning technique.
Examiner at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce
The Head of Phoenix Solar’s traineeship programme sits on various examination boards at the Munich Chamber of Industry and Commerce. She examines trainees undertaking various professional traineeships in the greater Munich area. This provides Phoenix Solar with an insight into other companies and enables suggestions and lessons learned to be incorporated into its own traineeship programme.
Awards
Ms. Simone Eichmeier, Phoenix Solar's HR Manager for vocational training, sits on several examination boards of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Munich and Upper Bavaria. She examines the apprentices of Greater Munich in a number of different commercial professions. These activities give Phoenix Solar an insight into other companies, and the experience gained can be integrated into its training program. This is how Phoenix Solar makes an active contribution to furthering apprenticeship training.
As from July 2011, Ms. Simone Eichmeier will be chairing the office administrator examination board of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce of Munich and Upper Bavaria. Furthermore, she has been appointed a member of the AKA Committee (committee tasked with intermediate and final examinations for the profession of office administrator) which is part of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce for Middle Franconia in Nuremberg.
Personnel development as part of training
To recruit suitably talented young people but also to enable them to obtain qualifications in different areas, the company joined the Training Association of the Fürstenfeld Professional Training Agency in September 2009. A comprehensive programme for obtaining additional qualifications was drawn up in collaboration with the association’s member companies to provide all trainees from the network with regular opportunities to benefit from the expertise of the network partners.
Phoenix Solar offers a “ready for the exam” course in which trainees from other companies can participate. This fosters exchange with external trainees and personnel development. As part of this process, trainees can voluntarily participate in the training courses of other association companies.
To drive forward the company’s international positioning in a targeted way, all trainees take part in an e-learning programme in English. Workshops on specialist topics and a business lunch are also held.
